We accept a wide range of high‐quality collateral, including government bonds, supranational securities and select corporate bonds with strong credit ratings. All collateral undergoes a strict eligibility review and haircuts are applied based on market conditions to ensure safety and reduce counterparty risk.
Areca offers flexible repo tenors ranging from overnight to 12 months. Shorter tenors (overnight and term) can be settled on a next‐day or same‐day basis, while longer tenors follow standard market conventions for settlement and maturity. You can tailor the tenor and settlement instructions to match your liquidity and funding requirements.
Repo rates are derived from prevailing market conditions, including supply and demand dynamics for both cash and collateral. We source competitive pricing through our network of liquidity providers and apply a margin over benchmark rates (such as SONIA or EONIA) based on collateral quality, tenor and client credit profile. All rate details are clearly disclosed in the trade confirmation.
